What do a VIP Alumni Tent, Bed Races, The Clarks and a giant caterpillar maze have in common?
If you said that they are all going to be at the Penn State New Kensington Fall Festival, then you are correct! On Saturday, Sept. 25 the campus will be flooded with vendors, craft booths, cars for a car cruise, and of course, students and faculty along with the outside community.
Kevin Snider, the Chancellor of Penn State New Kensington, has a vision of the Penn State students interacting with the local communities in order to strengthen a bond that can stand the test of time. The Fall Festival is one way to get people from different parts of western Pennsylvania to join for one Saturday and have a good time.
The major highlights of the day consist of a car cruise, bed races, bingo, a men’s soccer game, a lady’s volleyball game, a kid’s zone, and of course, a concert featuring The Clarks. So come on out, and remember, at the Penn State New Kensington Festival, “Our Memories Begin with You.”
